American Eco-Energy (AEE) has spent three years developing and perfecting a solution around its flagship product know as WES™ for Waste to Energy System. The requirements for WES™ were derived from customers, plant operators, air regulatory officials and review of similar industrial equipment. The key requirements and resulting features of the WES™ powered solution include:
- Economics - the primary reason for choosing an alternative energy solution is to achieve dramatic cost savings over the existing energy solution. The cost of energy includes all costs, not just fuel, associated with operation including labor, maintenance, fuel, consumables and disposal.
- Reliability - the solution must be reliable and stand up to high availability, mission critical operation.
- Easy to permit - operations with existing Title V air permits are wary to include new technology. The solution must be proven to work within existing and upcoming state and federal air regulations.
- Simple to operate - the equipment and process should be no more complicated then other existing industrial equipment such as a commercial boiler.
- Flexible end product - each customer has a unique need in terms of type of energy (i.e. steam, heat or electricity) and mix of energy.
AEE recognizes that for customers to be successful we must provide a turnkey solution for the entire deployment lifecycle. AEE’s solution covers the complete lifecycle of specification and deployment including:
- Permitting – We supplement or drive the permit process from information gathering to proposal to final approval. AEE has a close working relationship with two premier environmental consulting services firms.
- Fuel acquisition and marshalling – we help our customers locate, contract and set up supply logistics. Through AEE fuel partnership program you can choose from fuel vendors who have been certified to produce WES-Certified™ fuel.
- Financing: Through our financing partners you can explore a range of terms. AEE has already pre-qualified our solution with other agencies including the USDA loan guarantee program.
- Engineering: AEE has partnered with some of the largest engineering services firms who can provide the full range of services needed to make your project a success.
- Maintenance: Some customers choose to train their in-house staff on the maintenance and operations of the AEE equipment while others prefer to outsource the operations. AEE has a strong partnership with established maintenance and service partners with operations in every major U.S. city.
- Permitting: It takes more than a clean technology to get a permit as all permits are application or site specific. AEE has worked with our Environmental and Permit partners from the inception to ensure that you obtain your permit with the minimum effort and quickest turnaround.
