Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Troy Otillio
Troy Otillio is chairman and CEO of American Eco-Energy, LLC. Mr. Otillio has over 15 years experience in engineering management, product development and merger and acquisitions. In 2002, Otillio founded Envisage Capital LLC, a venture capital and management firm, which subsequently assumed control of American Eco-Energy LLC. During his Silicon Valley career, Mr. Otillio focused solely on early phase, venture backed start-ups in which all ventures that he participated in experienced rapid growth in revenue and headcount. Most recently, Otillio left Ariba, Inc., (NasdaqNM:ARBA) where he participated in software development, engineering management and the merger and acquisition team.
During his tenure at Ariba, Mr. Otillio contributed to the Company’s exponential and dramatic rise in revenue (from 1M/quarter in 1997 to 164M/quarter in 2000) and headcount (from 80 employees to over 2,500). Prior to Ariba, Otillio joined Documentum Inc. as its 15th employee and later served as Manager of Server Engineering. During his stay, Documentum saw headcount rise to 1,500 and revenues of 36M per quarter.
Otillio earned his B.S. degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo, California.
Dave Morrison - COO; Member of Board of Managers.
Mr. Morrison has spent more than 15 years working in the computer industry in Texas and Silicon Valley, California. He worked as a software engineer and consultant until hired by Ariba in 1999. During his time at Ariba, he was the Director of Server Infrastructure (Engineering), until his retirement in 2002. Since that time, Morrison has involved himself as an investor, founder and manager of several entities including American Eco-Energy LLC, Calibur Aviation, and Envisage Capital LLC. Mr. Morrison is a founding investor and individual contributor of AEE and has been solely responsible for organizing the IT infrastructure and back office in Hurst Texas. Mr. Morrison is also the on-site Project Manager at the Oklahoma R&D facility where he focuses on advanced control systems and distributed PLC automation.
Mr. Morrison earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University
of South Dakota, Vermillion. He is also a licensed pilot.
Chief Financial Officer, Allan Youngberg
Allan Youngberg is the Chief Financial Officer for American Eco-Energy, LLC. Mr. Youngberg has 29 years of experience as a leader in financial management, including his most recent 12 years as CFO and EVP for two public startup companies, Pricesmart (Nasdaq:PSMT) and Cost-U-Les (Nasdaq:CULS). Youngberg incubated CULS from a startup and took the Company public in 1998. Rapid growth into 22 countries with compounded annual sales growth of 50% per year over the 12 year period, reaching $650 million in 2003. He is experienced in navigating the challenges of building an infrastructure to support the anticipated rapid growth for American Eco-Energy.
Mr. Youngberg holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from
the University of Washington and is a CPA.
Bernie Laseke - Sr. Air Quality Scientist
Mr. Laseke is a preeminent Air Quality expert and energy systems engineer who has over thirty years experience working on behalf of customers to implement energy solutions to meet economic and emission oriented objectives. Mr. Laseke has permitted over 500 solutions at both the state and federal levels for both new and existing solutions ranging in capital costs from $100,000.00 to $10,000,000. Laseke has been involved with AEE and has been involved at all levels in the development and sales of WES™ since early 2003.

Dr. Bob Ashworth - Chief Technologist.
Dr. Ashworth is a chemical engineer whose experience covers coal conversion processes from pyrolyis to liquefaction to gasification and combustion. His experience also includes medical waste incineration and sterilization, wood gasification, dual fluid atomization, electric power cycle analyses and economic analyses. Ashworth has presented over 50 technical papers on fuels and fuel related subjects. He holds 16 U.S. patents on advanced systems relating to coal liquefaction, coal/biomass gasification, staged coal combustion, a dry flue gas scrubbing system that produces a KNO3 - K2SO4 fertilizer, ESP performance enhancement, SO3 opacity reduction, fuel composites, slurry fuel firing, reburning for NOX control, and minerals recovery from fly ash, with a 17th patent filed for mercury reduction. Several patents have been filed and allowed in other countries. He developed a low pollutant emissions “Super Batch” medical waste incinerator that was also used to burn tires successfully. He was the Project Manager for a study on Power Generation in Small Rural Communities for the Alaska Energy Authority. His industry activities include:

- Commissioned a Kentucky Colonel in 2001 for his work on clean coal technology.
- Managed Lincoln Development Center demonstration of the Dr. Ashworth Combustor™ completed in March 2003. (three-stage multi-pollutant reduction combustion technique to reduce SO2, NOX, Hg, other heavy metal air toxics and particulate emissions.
Bob is currently working on an 80 MWe demonstration power plant in Hutsonville, IL. Dr. Ashworth also consults with other energy developers. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University in 1960.
Robert McKee - Chief Engineer.
Mr. McKee is a licensed mechanical engineer with 20 years of professional work experience. This includes five years for boiler manufacturing companies where he held various engineering positions from Field Service Engineer to Product & Business Development Manager for fossil fueled boilers and heat recovery. He has 15 years of experience in defense research & development with Battelle Memorial Institute’s Pacific Northwest Laboratories, where he transitioned from experimental work to engineering design, and developed innovative thermal energy management technologies with an emphasis in nuclear reactor and radioisotope applications, and won numerous awards as Senior Research Engineer. McKee began working as an independent contractor/consultant in July 2004, primarily for American Eco Energy, LLC, to set up a demonstration test of a commercial gasification cogeneration technology.
McKee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University (1984) and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University (1988), where he specialized in numerical/computational modeling of heat transfer and fluid flow. In addition, he worked for one year as a graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington, where he conducted experimental studies of fuel-rich combustion and took one year of related coursework toward a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Lee Massey - Sr. Combustion Engineer
Mr. Massey is the President of Universal Combustion Corporation and lead combustion engineer for American Eco-Energy, LLC. Mr. Massey has over 35 years of experience in combustion with specialized focus on flares, oxidation and burner design of waste fuels and low NOx solutions.
Mr. Massey holds four patents and holds a MSBE degree from Oklahoma State University.
Jim Short - Sr. Controls System Engineer
Mr. Short has 35 years experience in the design and development of computer automation using PLC’s for control of industrial products. Mr. Short has specialized on advanced control systems for energy systems such as commercial boilers, combustion and gasification.
Ray Yauk - Master Constructor and Fabricator
Mr. Yauk has over 35 years experience in oilfield fabrication and industrial
construction. Mr. Yauk’s and his fabrication company, Dry Fabrication
of Oklahoma, has provided the core manpower and technical support for
AEE’s R&D design team.
